Welcome to Fijo. By accessing or using the Fijo mobile application or website (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to use Fijo.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@fijo.pa if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. User Content
You retain ownership of the content you post (listings, photos, reviews). By posting, you grant Fijo a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content within the Service.
You agree to post only content that:
- Is accurate and not misleading.
- You have the right to share.
- Does not infringe on the rights of others.
- Is not illegal, harmful, threatening, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
4. Prohibited Activities
You may not:
- List illegal, fraudulent, or dangerous services.
- Impersonate any person or entity.
- Spam, harass, or abuse other users.
- Attempt to circumvent our safety mechanisms, including reports and verification.
- Scrape, reverse-engineer, or automate access to the Service without our written permission.
- Upload malware or interfere with the Service.
5. Marketplace Role
Fijo is a platform that connects service providers with customers. Transactions, quality of work, payment, and delivery are between users. Fijo is not a party to any transaction and does not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of services offered.
6. Reviews and Reports
Reviews must reflect genuine experiences. We may remove reviews that violate these Terms. Users can report inappropriate content; Fijo reviews reports and may remove content or suspend accounts at its discretion.
7. Verification
Profile verification is optional. A verification badge indicates that Fijo has reviewed submitted identification, but it does not guarantee the provider's competence, honesty, or legal standing.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or any conduct that we determine harmful to other users or the Service. You may delete your account at any time from within the app.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. Fijo disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fijo and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the Service.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Fijo from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Panamá, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email.
